There is always so much to see and do in Lacock Village, Abbey and Fox Talbot Museum that our members were happy to return to a place we’d last visited in 2015.
The May weather was kind which made the visit even more enjoyable. As well as the Village and Abbey there is beautiful countryside to explore and a walk beside the River Avon. The NT has lots of ideas on how to make the most of the time available including a map of a mile long gentle walk taking you from the village where the TV series Cranford was filmed, over the remains of long-gone 17th-century water gardens and giving some stunning views of the abbey, not seen from within the abbey grounds.
Lacock … … is a … … beautiful … … village … … to explore … … and the … … Abbey … … never fails to … … impress its visitors.
