Topsham & Exmouth
Take the coach to Dart’s Farm at Topsham where we will have two hours to enjoy this unique shopping destination that champions local food and drink from their own farm and other incredible, passionate artisans. The Food Hall has a butchery, vegetables and delicatessen, champions flavour, quality and eating with the seasons. There is a Gift Department with homeware, gardening products, natural and sustainable gifts and children’s toys and clothes. There is also an Aga shop, Fired Earth and The Orange Tree with design-led products ranging from furniture to jewellery and crystal. There is also a Cotswold Outdoor store and an RSPB store on site.
The Cow and Cacao, The Yard Restaurant, The Shack and the Fish Shed are the perfect places for a light lunch, all operating on a walk in basis with no bookings required. The Farm Table requires an advance booking for a more expensive meal
At 2:30pm we will board our coach for the short drive to Topsham Quay where our boat will be arriving from Exmouth. We will enjoy a one hour trip, travelling the peaceful waters of the river, up near Powderham Castle and along to where the river opens out into the English Channel, on Exmouth’s traditional seafront.
With outside upper decks with plenty of fresh air and indoor heated lower decks, this boat is the perfect way to experience the beauty of this area – whatever the weather!
We will arrive at Exmouth at 4:15pm and our coach will return us to Dorset.
