A Year in the Country - January 27th, 2020 2:30pmSpeaker Colin Varndell Colin’s been photographing the landscape and wildlife for over 35 years. This is a miscellany of natural history images taken over a 2 year period. Subjects covered include birds, mammals, reptiles, invertebrates, wild flowers, fungi, abstract, trees, woodland and landscapes. His images are spectacular and he is a very popular speaker so come early to be sure of a seat.
Storms, Flood and Fires - February 24th, 2020 2:30pmSpeaker Bruce Upton
Since 2010 Bruce has been the ‘Community Officer’ for the Bridport Museum. He has been giving talks to schools and local organisation to bring awareness of the history of our local area, retiring from this post in 2018. This talk uses dramatic shots of the bad weather from the most recent in 2012 back to the early 1900’s.
